Acti-Sol farms and its affiliated farms have their own manure drying equipment and all droppings are dried on site. The raw material comes from southern Québec and eastern Ontario. Acadie’s seaweed fertilizers are exclusively made of  Ascophyllum nodosum marine plants collected in the coastal waters of the North Atlantic of Nova Scotia, Canada. Unlike oil-based chemical fertilizers, Acti-Sol fertilizers use local resources.
